Setting Up Your Video Projector For Videos and Still Images
To display videos and still images on a video projector, the video projector must be configured in Windows as an extension of the Windows desktop, as Screen 2.
When SCS opens a cue file, if there is at least one video/image cue and the second screen (eg video projector) is detected, then a maximized black borderless window is opened on the second screen, and any videos and images are displayed in that window. So the second screen remains black when not playing cues.
It is also recommended you turn on presentation mode in Windows, and if necessary set the desktop background to black. (Setting the background black may be done automatically, or you may need to set it black using Change Presentation Settings in the Windows Mobility Center.) Setting the desktop background black means the second screen stays black even after you close SCS. Presentation mode also prevents the screen saver being actioned, etc.
If you can't find the Windows Mobility Center then type in Mobility in the Search Programs and Files box. This way to open the Windows Mobility Center is, surprisingly, the method given in the Microsoft Windows Help. (This information applies to Windows 7 - it may be different for other Windows versions.)
